Objectives and Investment Policy
The fund is a special leveraged exchange-traded fund which means that it differs from a mutual fund. The objective of the fund is to provide a daily return equivalent to approximately 200% of the daily opposite change in the OMXS30 Index (OMXS30 refers to the index that includes dividends, OMXS30GI) before management fees and other transaction costs. This means that when the OMXS30 falls by 1% on the market in one day, XACT Bear 2 should rise by approximately 2%. The index consists of the 30 most-traded shares on the NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange (Stockholm Stock Exchange).
The fund’s capital consists of liquid assets and sold futures contracts (OMXS30 futures) equivalent to approximately 200% of the fund’s value. A daily rebalancing of the fund’s futures holdings occurs to ensure that the fund maintains an exposure of -200% of the fund capital. Fund returns are determined by how the fund's investments in futures contracts increase or decrease in value.
The fund may invest in derivative instruments as part of the fund’s investment focus.
The fund does not distribute dividends. All income is reinvested in the fund. Normally, you can purchase and sell fund units on the stock market, the so-called secondary market, on all banking days. You can also create and redeem units directly with the management company on the so-called primary market.
Recommendation: This fund may not be suitable for investors who plan to withdraw their money within 0 years.
