Portfolio manager comments — Q4 2025
During the fourth quarter, bond yields rose in Sweden and Europe, while US bond yields moved sideways. Rising yields negatively affected holdings with longer maturities; however, as the portfolio maintained a shorter average maturity than normal, the fund was less negatively impacted.

Several central banks cut policy rates during the quarter. We assess that the Swedish and European central banks will keep policy rates unchanged over the coming quarters, while the US central bank is likely to continue cutting rates.

During the quarter, we further reduced the average maturity, as we see a risk of higher long term yields over time. We also increased holdings in emerging market bonds, where we see potential for attractive risk adjusted returns due to higher running yields. Exposure to high yield was reduced somewhat, as risk premiums are currently at low levels.

During the third quarter, the fund delivered a return of 0,7%, which was 40 basis points higher than the benchmark index. For the full year 2025, the fund returned 2,3%, outperforming the index by 85 basis points.
