The Management Company’s risk control function monitors the environmental/social characteristics promoted by the fund on a daily basis to ensure compliance.

The Management Company has established routines for due diligence to ensure that sustainability risks and the sustainability requirements specified for each fund are taken into account in the investment decisions. These routines differ depending on the focus of the asset management. When investing in funds managed by Handelsbanken Fonder, an IDD process (Investment Due Diligence) is carried out to ensure that the underlying fund's sustainability criteria meet the requirements set in the fund in question. The Management Company’s risk control function conducts controls on a quarterly basis to ensure that all of the fund investments have an an IDD.

The Management Company’s risk control function also conducts controls of the funds’ underlying assets for all of the Management Company’s funds on a daily basis to ensure that these are aligned with the sustainability requirements imposed for each fund.
